I think Harley's line in the second panel came from, of all places, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, when Rudolph's father is putting his nose-disguising-thing on and Rudolph says it isn't comfortable. I don't think that life isn't just about comfort. Maybe a tiny bit. But not a lot.
