There's a part in Life of Pi that says basically the same thing as this strip. I thought it was an interesting idea, so I wanted to apply it to these characters.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts the last few days. But we're back now!
Happy Eclipse Day, everybody! Unfortunately, up here in Maine I could only see half of the full eclipse, but for those of you that were in the area it was probably pretty sick. And for those of you who didn't see the eclipse at all, you probably don't care.
In retrospect, I'm not sure how this prank would actually work. Conceivably, Pete would be able to see the hot sauce on the chip, right? So did Billy just use such a small drop of hot sauce that Pete couldn't see it? Did he apply a very thin, nearly transparent layer of hot sauce? Did he put the sauce on the underside of the chip? I'll let you decide!
Originally, no one was saying anything in the fourth panel of this strip, and it was just implied that Harley was realizing what Billy was doing. But I wasn't sure if it would be clear enough, so I ended up deciding to write dialogue in that panel. I'm not sure if that was the right decision, and it's not a very original joke anyway so I don't think it was worth the trouble.
The first three panels of this were drawn entirely with my left hand. I always love doing these stupid Billy-drawn strips because I don't have to put much effort into them and I think they're pretty funny. But I know it would get old if I did this kind of strip too often.
Hey guys! I'm posting this from Maine. It should be a nice place to relax and draw some comics.
This strip was written shortly after a game of Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. I made the colors and shading in the backgrounds of each panel correspond to the spell that was being used in that panel.
This one's in the same vein as the last strip, but I'm not so sure how clear the joke is in this one. In case it doesn't make sense, it's how Billy orders Harley to do something after refusing to take any orders.
I wonder how long you could last if you actually seceded a little circle of land like Billy did.
If there's one sci-fi technology that I want to be invented in real life, it's teleportation. Just think of all the things we could do with it.
The house flooding seems a bit unrealistic, but I don't care. It's a comic strip. I can do what I want.
I wish I knew more about the research being made about global warming, new forms of energy, etc. If anyone knows about that kind of stuff, I'd be happy to hear about it.
