I remember drawing this and the next two strips in Maine last summer. This one's not that good, but the other ones are fine.
On an unrelated note, I saw Back to the Future for my first time yesterday (I know, kind of late on things, huh?) and it's probably my new favorite movie.

No matter what movie it is, the commercials always advertise that it's the "#1 Movie in America" or the "Movie of the Year." This is the case regardless of how bad the movie is, so I thought I should write a strip about it.

This is a real turtle, and there are probably more like it. You can see one here.
Also, I find it funny to think about a plaid-clad turtle.

I always loved when Calvin would go on one of his imaginative adventures in Calvin and Hobbes. Since Pete is more of a childish character, I thought I could do something similar with him. I think it turned out well.

I like this strip. One day, Billy.
Spring's tomorrow! I can't wait. It's been a long winter.

March 18th, 2014

Most of my comics are inspired by Calvin and Hobbes, which, in my opinion, is the most influential comic strip ever. That appears to be the case here, where Billy (Calvin) is fantasizing about something really cool, but gets rejected by Harley (Calvin's parents).
Also, I had a snow day yesterday. Yay.

This is an older joke from a comic of mine called Astro-Beep. I really liked that strip (almost more than this one). It was about two kids traveling in space, and I could get really creative with all the planets and backgrounds I made.

March 14th, 2014

This is a modified version of a joke from my old Good ol' Bob strip, like the refrigerator and the weeping willow strips. I like this one.

Also, for you mathematicians out there, it's Pi Day! Here's what I know by heart: 3.141592653589. . .3. . .or was it 2. . .? π

I'm really ashamed of this one. It's not good. All of my "environmental message" strips stink. I do like that plant basket hanging from the ceiling, though.

The Smudge Expo was really fun two days ago! I got to sell a lot of things.

Anyways, here's another "Sunday." Since this is a webcomic, I can make the strip into whatever shape I want it to be! So here I tried to test that out. I think it shaped up pretty well.

Lastly, daylight savings! Awesome! It feels like springtime already.

March 8th, 2014

Today is the big day of the Smudge Comic Arts Expo! I'm gonna be selling a whole bunch'a stuff, from comics to T-shirts!

For those who didn't know, a 'wobbegong' is a kind of shark commonly found around Australia and Indonesia. You should look one up; they look really cool!

March 4th, 2014

I'm having some awesome snow days! Woohoo!

I took this joke from an old series of strips I made. This was probably the only decent one among them.

March 2nd, 2014

Like the older refrigerator strip, this joke was from a 5th Grade comic of mine called Good ol' Bob. I revised it a little, of course.
