Actually, Harley, that's only the latest and most likely theory on how life was formed. It hasn't been proven yet. Jeez, man, get your stuff together.

Hey guys. Sorry for the short break; we were coming back from vacation for the last couple days. We'll return to the story right after this short colored-strip break.

I think the colors turned up pretty good. What do you think?

Sweet, sweet revenge. . . wait. . .

For those just tuning in to the story:
The Billy Gang is at the pool for the day. Pete and Billy are roaming while Harley swims.

Poor Pete. Always being taken advantage of, whether being tricked, forced into trouble or used as a shuffleboard puck.
I have not once played shuffleboard in my life.

This series was both a good and bad experience for me, because it involved drawing many other people besides the usual gang. Obviously I haven't mastered drawing people yet, which made winging it like I usually do difficult. It was sort of helpful, though, and I think I've got a better grip on that sort of thing now. Also I think there's a cameo of me in the first panel. I'm the black-haired dude in the back.

Hey everybody! Today begins a new Billy series! Yipee! This one gets interesting, so stay tuned.

In the last panel, Billy was originally thinking something else, but it turned out to be too much of a spoiler for the rest of the story. So I changed one of the words to "bored" and it looks a tad better now. Now that I think about it, it would have been better flow if Billy had said his last line instead of thought it. But too late now.

This strip was supposed to appear on June 27th. The problem is, when I was scanning the strips to be colored, I totally skipped over this one. It took me until last week to realize that I had completely messed up the order of the colored strips. So I scanned it, finally, and spent this last week coloring it in time for today. Now the strips have aligned once again! Back on track, baby!

Now, about the strip itself. When coloring this one, I decided to get a little creative with the color schemes of the backgrounds. This strip being about smoothies, I decided to choose on the background colors based on assorted fruits. Panel two's scheme is supposed to have the colors of a mango. Panel five is based on a dragonfruit. Panel eight is based on passion fruits. It's these little things that no one notices or cares about that make doing this fun.

Also, my family and I are heading to Maine tomorrow! We'll stay there for the next two weeks, so I'll be posting from there for that time. Speaking of which, the next set of strips is going to be an awesome story, so stay tuned!

Phew! A lot of typing for this one. Kudos if you made it through all that.

August 12th, 2015

I messed up the order of the strips this week. This strip should have appeared on August 8th, and the strip on that day should have appeared today. But I mixed them up. Oh well. That probably doesn't affect your reading experience and I didn't really need to bring that up. :)

Anyhoo, this fact that Harley says is true. It's sorta sad to think about, but I thought it was interesting.

August 10th, 2015

I can't really think of much to say about the strip today. . .

. . . I guess you guys can ask me what to talk about! Leave a comment!

Pete has pretty much the same timidness as I do. But then, I would never even think about running in a race.

There are always two ways to look at a situation. :)

(Personally, I like to be inside.)
