The joke only half-works here. It's a challenging task writing storylines in strip form, because you have to progress the plot and be funny at the same time. The attempt here was to make the joke coincide with the introduction of a new plot point at the end and connect the two simultaneous stories, but I found it hard to tie the two together in a non-awkward way. Oh well, I'll get 'em next time.
