It's the last week of school!! So much has changed. It's hard to believe it's ending already.
Also, it is officially summer starting today! Hooray!

I love it when someone says a sentence that would make NO sense out of context, which is what I was trying to emulate in this strip. Not sure if the joke came across as well as I wanted, but I think the idea's there.

  1. Happy summer vacation! I read how you could make diamonds with a microwave, a piece of charcoal (not a glued-together briquet), and peanut butter. *In theory* carbon + protein + intense heat and pressure that only a $10 goodwill store microwave (don't use your nice microwave) can provide = tiny little industrial-grade diamonds. Slather charcoal with peanut butter and nuke for six ten-minute runs. My microwave caught fire after thirty minutes (oh yes, and do this outside) but in the charred husk I really thought I could see the glint of precious gems.

    1. I've heard about that before! Unfortunately, I saw a Mythbusters episode that disproved it. Sigh. . . Happy summer vacation to you too!
