Billy's mind is full of business ideas. Not all of them are good ones.
Easy on the merchandise!

This was a pun my dad made up. It was funnier when he said it.
If you couldn't tell what the pun is of, it's based off of "monkey see, monkey, do." I kind of worded it oddly, so it's a bit hard to understand.

My social status is currently that of Billy's, but I like to think of myself as one of those "tough guys."

I like how this strip turned out, but maybe I overdrew it (meaning that I tried to cram too much stuff into it). It is kind of based on real life, since I always see a lot of items at the store that I want to get, but can't.
Grocery stores are actually mapped out to do this. They put all the dairy products in the back, so that whoever needs some milk (which is usually everyone) has to pass through all the other products to get there, and will probably pause and buy a tempting item along the way. They also put all that candy up front, so you can get a final item you wouldn't otherwise get.

When I draw seven of the same poses of the characters like this, I often have trouble keeping the consistency of the drawing from panel to panel. For example, Harley's head takes some weird shapes in this strip. This is kind of annoying, but I kind of like it. Many cartoonists just copy and paste their characters. I would never do that.

This joke came from a real-life experience. It was at a swim meet, and one of my teammates was motivating me to swim as fast as I could. He basically said the same things Billy did (except he said "swim" instead of "run"). I replied much like Pete did. When it was getting close to go-time, my teammate said, "Swim like it's the last day of your life." I replied, "Then why would I even be swimming anyway?" I thought it was funny, so around half a year later I drew this.

This was a limerick that I wrote in sixth grade (with a few modifications). Maybe you think it's okay, but I don't, really. For me, it's just weird.

This is a very lazy joke, and I apologize for that.
I have been hearing from some people that it's been hard to comment on this website, so I edited the settings. Now it should be easier. Just look at the comic archive and go to the post you want to comment on!

This has to be my favorite Billy strip up to date. It was fun to draw, easy to color, and I just like how it's laid out. It was based off of an older comic I made called Astro-Beep! It looks like a Calvin and Hobbes fantasy, too.

For those just tuning in to the story (You're pretty late by now): Harley has brought Billy and Pete along to see his brother, Thomas.
Thus ends my first real series in Billy the Pop. I don't think it was so good, but for a first series it was fine in my book.

For those just tuning in to the story: Billy, Pete and Harley are staying at Harley's brother, Thomas' house.
I really wish I had a pool table. I really like pool.

For those just tuning in to the story: Harley is taking Billy and Pete over to see his brother, Thomas. Billy hasn't been enjoying it very much, but he sure seems to enjoy blasting pete through the air a bunch. Poor Pete.

I really have no experience meeting a brother I haven't seen in a while, so feel free to rant on about how unrealistic this is.

I know Billy's fact from a reliable source, but I forget where exactly. (That sure doesn't help its reliability.)
Also, that car in the first panel is not good, most likely because I put too much effort into it, and also because I don't know very well what a realistic car looks like. I should probably use a reference once in a while.

This strip marks the beginning of the first real story in Billy the Pop! I rarely try to do these sort of things, but they do open up a lot of jokes, since you don't have to think of a completely different scenario every time.
